Our Agriculture and Horticulture Scholarships are open to anyone studying an Agriculture or Horticulture course at South West TAFE in 2020 to apply.

If you’re looking to start or progress your career, we can help you get there with a scholarship to help with any study-related costs.

What's available in 2020?

We have four scholarships available for 2020.

  up to $4000 7 August 2020 Studying the Certificate III in Agriculture (Dairy Production)
RC Webb Scholarship up to $4000 8 March 2020 Studying an Agriculture or Horticulture course
  up to $2000 8 March 2020 Studying an Agriculture or Horticulture course


Who can apply?

Anyone that meets the criteria for each individual scholarship (above) and:

  • is planning to or be enrolled in a full-time course at the South West TAFE in 2020
  • can demonstrate a strong commitment to their studies and pathway into employment
  • is living within the Corangamite Shire, Warrnambool City Council, Moyne Shire, Southern Grampians Shire or the Glenelg Shire.
  • is an Australian Citizen or holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa

What can the scholarship be used for?

Our Agriculture and horticulture scholarships can support you with:

  • course fees
  • course consumable and material fees
  • booklist items

Please note scholarships are not redeemable for cash.

How to apply?

  1. Visit the scholarships page on our website, select the Agriculture and Horticulture Scholarships and click ‘Apply’.
  2. You will need to complete a form letting us know a bit about yourself and answer some questions about why you are applying for this scholarship.
  3. You will need to supply a reference contact with a short supporting statement for your application
  4. Submit by the due date.
