Work experience put Dominic Knuckey-Holswich on the path to a successful career

/ Success Story
Work experience at Christian Automotive in Terang has put Dominic Knuckey-Holswich on the path to a successful career in the automotive industry.

I was in year 12 and wasn’t sure what I wanted to do.

I was originally interested in the building trade, but I got a car when I turned 16 and was excited to work on it so I thought I’d give the automotive industry a try.

I completed a week of work experience at Christian Autos and then started working there after school before being offered an apprenticeship.

I love that every day is different in this trade. We get to work on a lot of different cars and there’s always something to do and a lot to learn.

At trade school I enjoy that we get the opportunity to work on some of the new technology that we don’t always get an opportunity to see in the workshop.

I’m not sure what the future will look like but I definitely want to stay in the automotive trade.
