/ Success Story
When Zoe Palmer finished secondary school and wasn’t sure what to do, she discovered a business traineeship at Wannon Water was the perfect way to spend a gap year.
Zoe Palmer studied a business traineeship at South West TAFE.

“I knew I wasn’t ready for university straight away, so this traineeship has been perfect for me.

“It was a great opportunity for me to save some money, learn from others working in a corporate environment and gain confidence,” she said.

Zoe said she had learnt skills and gained valuable knowledge that would help with whatever she did in the future.

“The business traineeship is so versatile and can be applied to any job you might do.

“It looks great on your resume and was also easy to fit the study in with work commitments,” she said.

Next year Zoe is planning to study a Bachelor of Nutrition at Australian Catholic University in Melbourne.

“I’m really interested in healthy eating and the science behind how food helps your body so I’m really looking forward to this course next year,” she said.
